Cooperating with Change
We all need to embrace the process, and each other
It’s been a rocky/intense couple of weeks (heck, years!)… In case you haven’t noticed, we are living in extremely transformative times, so it’s important to rest and integrate along the way as much as you can.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve had to deal with change in one form or another, for one reason or another. Whether imposed on or initiated by you, change has been in the air for a while now, and only seems to be accelerating. So we had best get used to it and pace ourselves, as it can be both exciting and exhausting to be constantly processing and adjusting to all that is happening within and around us — good, bad and ugly.
We also need to trust that any changes are serving us exactly as we need them to, even if it doesn’t initially seem that way. For example, when you respond to the outer world in a way that feels right for you, meaning, if you discern that something is harmful or unjust or just doesn’t sit well, then take action accordingly; this gives you the opportunity for self-empowerment and forces a change within.
Remember, too, that we are all on our own journey, dealing with life changes that we have needed, earned and/or desired, and are addressing at the right time for our own personal growth. This is why relationships and interactions with others in general can be so challenging right now; we are each dealing with a lot of internal and external stuff.
Which is also why it’s important to be as supportive and compassionate as we can with each other, and be aware of comparing or judging. We are all unique individuals, with a unique set of circumstances and choices, and we are all just doing the best we can with where we’re at.
